Andrey Sokurec is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Homestead Road, a Minneapolis-based home-buying and residential redevelopment company he started in 2007. Under his leadership, Homestead Road has purchased more than 3,000 homes and transacted over $1 billion in residential real estate, with operations across Minnesota, Wisconsin, and Florida. The company buys houses directly from homeowners for cash, letting sellers skip repairs, showings, pricing uncertainty, and agent commissions — then renovates each home and returns it to the market for a new family. Andrey built Homestead Road around a simple idea: selling a house should be simple and stress-free, even in complicated situations like inheritance, relocation, or foreclosure. Beyond the company, he is an author and podcast host, and a longtime advocate for transparent, ethical home buying in the Twin Cities.
